Simple elegance describes the dining experience at our Galena, Illinois restaurant.

Unmatched Old World decor, a diverse wine cellar, and premier personal service are all complemented by our Chef's creative cuisine. Enjoy dining in one of our cozy booths or elegant tables with breathtaking views overlooking the Mississippi River. Plan your next event in our private Great Room for weddings, corporate events and family reunions; seating available for up to 56 people. For a unique experience, seating is also available at our exclusive Chef's table.

Dining is open to the public Thursday - Monday.  Our menu always offers a choice of selected entrees for the evening, giving our chef the opportunity to create dishes that are entirely unique, or a new twist on something familiar.

Driven to put forth the best cuisine, our Chefs use their own stocks for sauces, freshly baked goods, and original homemade ice creams and sorbets. This level of freshness and quality is not always easy, but we find it necessary to offer the one-of-a-kind dining experience that we strive to offer.

With advanced notice, the chef will gladly accommodate food allergies or preferences to help fit your needs. The seasonal menus are posted on our website for you convenience or call 815-777-3925 to inquire and make a reservation. Treat yourself to a dinner like no other in the Galena area.

Golden Knights Guild

Bold, bountiful and balanced! We are pleased to announce a culinary experience for every guest hosted by Goldmoor Inn & Dining. Members of our monthly dining guild will meet the third Friday of each month to dine on divine Goldmoor 3- to  6-course cuisine at various
Galena surroundings … al fresco in the park, a grand hall, even the Innkeeper’s home kitchen. Chef Taylor will share his culinary experiences with the guests via many avenues, including demonstrations, techniques, recipes, and more.

Fees and perks: Guild membership fee is $100 per person, $175 per couple. Dinner prices will range from $49-89 unless otherwise specially announced. You may bring a guest at the price range of $59-99. Members who attend 6 of the 12 dinners will receive a 50% off voucher to be used toward an overnight stay at the
Inn. Members will also receive a 10% discount card to be used on Goldmoor Dining’s seasonal restaurant menus and will be entered in monthly drawings!
