You will be shuttled through the rolling farmland to Galena Cellars Vineyard for a private tasting and tour with light appetizers. Next stop will be the DeSoto House Hotel, the oldest operating hotel and former champaign headquarters of President Grant, where you will be served soup and salad. Experience a magical evening celebrating the spirit of the Christmas Season complete with the choir of "Goldmoor Carolers" providing festive song and merriment. Our enchanted bluff top castle will be beautifully adorned with garlands of evergreen and twinkling lights. Simple elegance describes our dining room decor, decked with traditional old World English Country trimmings and embellishments. Gather around to dress the Christmas tree while sipping signature cocktails including traditional wassail and eggnog. Once the tree is trimmed and spirits are high we will begin the five course English country feast. Indulge in the chef's delights of cheese and chutney, roasted chestnut soup, stuffed Cornish game hen or Prime rib with Yorkshire pudding, pomegranate/candied walnut salad followed by an array of delicious English desserts. Offered services are 60-minute massages ($85), 90-minute massages with or without hot stones ($135) or 75-minute hot stones ($110).
Our massage professionals are fully licensed and nationally certified in massage therapy and are members of the American Massage Therapy Association. Please be sure to request your spa appointment in advance. Spa service is an addition to any other package or accommodation.
